Quick verdict. A simple way to summarize and question long PDFs, with a free plan that allows 2 PDFs. The paid plans are cheap at $9 and $19 a month, but the yearly saving is not priced, the page limits are vague and the terms say nothing about cancellation or refunds.

What Is aiPDF

aiPDF is a browser app that lets you drop in a PDF, an EPUB book, a web page or a YouTube video, then summarize it or ask questions. Answers come with references to the source, and you can export them. It replies in the language you write in.

Is aiPDF Legit And Safe

The terms name the operator as Lumination AI Ltd, with an address at 86-90 Paul Street, London. The site shows a user count of 61,427 and badges, which are the vendor claims. The data and benchmark claims are not verified.

Do not upload documents you are not allowed to share, such as client files or exam papers. The site says files are stored encrypted, deleted after one month on Playful, six months on Dynamic and never on Flagship unless you delete them, and that data sent to the AI is not used for model training. We have not used aiPDF and have not checked those claims. Check answers against the source, because AI summaries can be wrong.

What We Could Not Verify

  • The 61,427 users and the benchmark claims.
  • The yearly saving of up to 30%.
  • The data deletion and no-training claims.
  • Answer quality on your own documents.
