Does Mailscale Have A Free Trial

Not as far as the official pages say. The only entry route is a demo call, after which the FAQ describes a short pilot and says you then decide how to continue. Whether the pilot is paid is not stated.
How To Test It Well
- Ask whether the pilot is paid and what it costs.
- Agree in writing what results the pilot should show and over what period.
- Use a small, relevant list and your own opt-out process.
- Cancel before the renewal date if it is not working.
Other Cheap Ways To Learn More
- Read the knowledge base before the call.
- Watch the video testimonials on the site, remembering they are vendor-selected.
- Compare the case studies with your own sales cycle, since most report pipeline, not revenue.
Limits To Know
Cold email is regulated. Rules such as CAN-SPAM in the US, GDPR and ePrivacy rules in Europe and CASL in Canada cover identification, consent where required and opt-out, and Mailscale's own anti-spam policy bans bulk email to purchased or scraped consumer lists, deceptive content and phishing, and requires an opt-out, a postal address and suppression lists. Leads sourced from large databases may still raise privacy questions in your market, and the site itself says to book a call about compliance for your market. Mailscale does not guarantee results, and its terms say the service is provided as-is. Results from the case studies are the vendor's claims. This is not legal advice.
Flags on the site. There is no price list, no pricing link and no trial, and the FAQ answers for "How much does it cost", "Is there a guarantee", "Will my emails actually land in the inbox", CRM integrations and whether you need your own domains are blank on the page. The FAQ promises "no long-term lock-in" and a short pilot, but the terms do not mention a pilot or a minimum term, and the refund policy says all payments are non-refundable, including for partial use, lack of results and failing to cancel before renewal. Where a deliverability commitment applies, the refund policy says it gives domain replacement only, with no money back. The site calls the product both "autonomous" and "fully agentic" and one where you stay "in full control". It states firmly that pre-warmed domains keep you out of spam, while its own FAQ on inbox placement is unanswered. The case studies mostly report pipeline, estimated pipeline or meetings, not closed revenue, and the "3X ROI" is not explained. Claims of 400M+ contacts, 200M sends, 3,000+ customers and 100M+ emails sent are not verified by us, and the leads are said to come from providers including LinkedIn, Apollo and ZoomInfo. The home page also says "Welcome to the new Agentic Mailscale" and sends previous customers to a login, without explaining what changed.
How We Wrote This
This page is based on the official Mailscale website and its pricing page, read on 28 October 2026. We have not tested Mailscale ourselves, so we do not claim results. Quality, speed and capability claims are the vendor's own claims. Prices, models and promotions change often, so confirm them on the official site before you pay. See how we review.
