Short answer. Yes, but it is a small test: 3 upload credits for new users, with no credit card. That is 3 photos or videos, because one credit tags one file.

How To Use The 3 Credits

  1. Pick 3 files that are hard to tag, such as a busy scene, a vector and a short video.
  2. Set the language, keyword limit and title length.
  3. Compare the results with the keywords you would write.
  4. Export one file with metadata and one CSV to see the output.

What To Check

  • The site does not say how long the free credits last.
  • Three files may not show how the tool handles your whole catalog.
  • The refund policy says promotional or complimentary credits do not count toward refunds.

The AI drafts titles, descriptions and keywords, and the site itself says to review the results before publishing. Check each result by hand, because AI tags can be wrong, and read the rules of each stock agency for AI-assisted metadata before you upload. Files are used only for the tagging, and the FAQ says a low-resolution copy is kept until you delete the album or it is two years old. We have not used PhotoTag.ai and have not checked these claims.
