Quick verdict. Interesting for stock contributors and shops with many files, thanks to pay-once credits that never expire and exports to many stock platforms. The free test is only 3 files, the lower prices carry no end date, and refunds are at the company's discretion.

What Is PhotoTag.ai

PhotoTag.ai is a tool by CodeConda LLC. You upload photos, vector files or videos and it generates a title, a description and keywords. You review and edit them, then export the files with the metadata written in or a CSV for stock agencies.

Is PhotoTag.ai Worth It: Our Verdict

Verdict. Worth a test if you tag many files for stock sites or a shop. Use the 3 free credits on your hardest photos, check the keywords against what you would write, and buy the smallest pack first.

We have not used PhotoTag.ai, so this verdict comes from the official pages, not from testing.

Who Should Use PhotoTag.ai And Who Skip

A good fit

  • Stock photo and video contributors with large batches
  • Photographers who want IPTC and XMP written into files
  • Online shops that need titles and descriptions for many images

Think twice

  • People who tag only a few files a year
  • Anyone who needs fully checked, human-written keywords
  • Contributors to agencies that restrict AI-assisted metadata

Is PhotoTag.ai Legit And Safe

The pages name CodeConda LLC and say the platform is developed in the US. Policies include terms, privacy, refund, acceptable use and a data processing agreement. The FAQ says files are used only to generate the tags.

The AI drafts titles, descriptions and keywords, and the site itself says to review the results before publishing. Check each result by hand, because AI tags can be wrong, and read the rules of each stock agency for AI-assisted metadata before you upload. Files are used only for the tagging, and the FAQ says a low-resolution copy is kept until you delete the album or it is two years old. We have not used PhotoTag.ai and have not checked these claims.

What We Could Not Verify

  • The accuracy of the keywords on your own files.
  • The 40 million files and 40,000 members.
  • How long the lower prices last.
  • The Lightroom plug-in and the API.
