Writing And Citations

You pick essay, research paper, literature review or scientific paper. Samwell says it finds sources in more than 20 academic libraries and databases, and you can upload your own PDFs, articles or lecture notes, or give links. You can add instructions such as a comparison or a specific requirement.

Editor And Collaboration

The editor can rewrite, expand and rephrase text and add images, charts and tables. You can invite classmates or a professor, comment and chat in the document. The Tab key accepts autocomplete suggestions.

Upload Essay And Checks

Upload Essay lets you add citations, quotations, graphs, images and tables to a paper you already wrote, and the site lists grammar and plagiarism checks and a built-in AI check before download.

AI Tutor

The tutor explains your course material, helps with topics and quizzes you. Free has one study course and Academic has unlimited courses.

Academic integrity. Many schools and universities limit or ban AI-written work, and some require you to say when you used it. Check your institution rules before you submit anything made with Samwell, and treat the output as a draft that you must read, check and cite yourself. We do not recommend using any tool to hide AI use from your school. We have not used Samwell, and we have not checked that its citations are real.
