Who Should Use Samwell And Who Skip
A good fit
- Students who want a cited outline or first draft to rework

Think twice
- Anyone whose school bans AI-written work
- Buyers who need a refund option
- Anyone who wants to hide AI use from a teacher
Is Samwell Legit And Safe
Samwell has a working site with terms, a privacy policy and a refund policy. We found no company address on the pages we read. The user counts are the vendor claim and we did not verify them. Citations are described as real and verifiable, and we did not check that.
Academic integrity. Many schools and universities limit or ban AI-written work, and some require you to say when you used it. Check your institution rules before you submit anything made with Samwell, and treat the output as a draft that you must read, check and cite yourself. We do not recommend using any tool to hide AI use from your school. We have not used Samwell, and we have not checked that its citations are real.
What We Could Not Verify
- That every citation is real and matches the claim it supports.
- The 1,000,000+, 30,000+ and +3 million user counts.
- The quality of the 50-page essays.
- The Academic plan price.
How To Get Started With Samwell
- Start free and write one short piece with your 1,000 words.
- Open each citation and check that the source exists.
- Read your school rules on AI use.
- If you upgrade, confirm the price first. To stop renewal, cancel from Billing.

How We Wrote This
This page is based on the official Samwell website, pricing page and refund policy, read on 29 October 2026. We have not tested Samwell ourselves, so we do not claim results. Quality, speed and capability claims are the vendor's own claims. Prices, models and promotions change often, so confirm them on the official site before you pay. See how we review.
