Rules on AI writing differ by school and by instructor, and Textero itself says institutional rules come first, you remain responsible for what you submit and you should check facts and citations. AI detectors and plagiarism checkers can be wrong in both directions, and we do not recommend using any tool to hide AI use where it is not allowed. Use it as a drafting and research aid, disclose it where required and follow your own academic integrity policy. This is not legal or academic advice.

Flags on the site. The pricing page shows a "14-day money-back guarantee" on Quarterly and Yearly, and none on Monthly, but the refund policy page adds conditions: Monthly has a 7-day window, Quarterly and Yearly 14 days, and a refund is lost if you generate 3 or more documents (5 on Yearly). The "25% OFF" and "59% OFF" tags match our arithmetic ($14.99 against $19.99 is 25%, and $8.25 against $19.99 is about 59%). The home page says "undetectable AI essay writing" and lists an AI Detection Remover tool, while the academic integrity statement says Textero does not support plagiarism or misconduct, and the home page FAQ answers the question about AI detectors by saying Textero adapts to your tone and produces natural, human-like essays, without saying that detection is not a risk. The FAQ also says using AI to write an essay is "absolutely not" cheating, which in practice depends on your school's rules. The home page FAQ says each request allows up to 3,000 words, while the comparison section claims complete papers up to 20,000 words. The home page says it uses only scholarly sources, while the limitations page says Textero does not independently verify facts or judge source credibility. The site claims 300,000+ students and ratings of 4.3 on Google, 4.1 on Trustpilot and 4.6 on Sitejabber, and we cannot verify these.
