Prices are per month in US dollars, as read from the official Wordvice AI plans page on 28 October 2026, after switching between Annual, Semi-Annual and Monthly. The Team Plan is annual only, and its per-seat price depends on the number of seats. Premium PRO also shows a choice of free credits, and 1,000 was selected by default.
What Each Plan Gives
- Basic (free): 5,000 words a month, 500 words per submission, 2 proofreader and 2 paraphraser modes, 5 website and 5 YouTube summaries a day, AI detector 15,000 characters a month, ChatPDF 100 pages a month on the basic model, no plagiarism checker.
- Premium: 1,000,000 words a month, 20,000 words per submission, 4 proofreader and 5 paraphraser modes, 10 summaries a day, plagiarism checker up to 20 pages (5,000 words) a month, AI detector 1,000,000 characters a month and ChatPDF 1,000 pages a month on the advanced model.
- Premium PRO: the Premium limits, plus unlimited summaries, unlimited ChatPDF, plagiarism checks up to 40 pages (10,000 words) a month and a choice of free credits, 1,000 selected by default. One credit is 1 word of human proofreading, 30 characters of AI detector or 10 words of plagiarism checker.
- Team Plan: the Premium limits with account roles, permissions and centralised billing.
Yearly, Semi-Annual And Monthly
Our arithmetic: Premium yearly saves $120 a year against monthly (about 50%) and semi-annual saves about 20%. Premium PRO yearly saves $36 a year (10%), and its semi-annual price is the same as monthly. Premium PRO costs about 2.7 times Premium on yearly billing.
Team Plan Prices
The Team Plan is annual only, with owner, admin and member roles and one invoice. Seats cap the number of members, invitees need a Wordvice AI account, and removed members free a seat. For larger organisations there are custom plans through sales.
Refunds, Limits And Flags
Rules on AI writing and editing differ by school, journal, employer and instructor. Use grammar, proofreading and paraphrasing tools to improve your own work, check what your institution requires you to disclose, and do not use any tool to hide AI use where it is not allowed. AI detectors and plagiarism checkers can be wrong in both directions. Always read the output before you submit it, since paraphrasing can change meaning. This is not legal or academic advice.
Flags on the site. The home page says the Team plan "starts at $8.45 a month" and mentions one account for unlimited team members, but the Team Plan page lists $9.95 per seat for 3 to 9 seats, $8.95 for 10 to 49 and $8.45 only for 50 or more, and says seats set the maximum number of members. Premium shows "SAVE 50%" on yearly and "SAVE 20%" on semi-annual billing, which match our arithmetic against $19.95, but Premium PRO shows the same $29.95 on monthly and semi-annual billing, so the semi-annual option gives no saving there. We found no refund or trial terms on the plans or Team pages, and the Team page says cancellation goes through the help centre. The site claims 1.5+ million writers across 25,000 institutions, and it shows 20 university logos and a testimonial, which we cannot verify and have not reproduced. It also offers an AI Humanizer and an AI Detector, which sit awkwardly together, so see the responsible-use note below.
